WHO WE ARE
New York State Cricket Umpires Association also known as NYSCUA is a Non-Profit and Educational Cricket Umpiring Association that Foster, Encourage, Train and Develop the Highest level of Cricket Umpires and Scorers for Local, National, and International Competitions in New York State.
Our goal is to recruit at a minimum 300 Certified Cricket Umpires within the next 4 years to facilitate and make them available to cover every county within the Region.
We collaborate with the various Leagues, Schools, Coaches and Community teaching the Laws and Principles, by way of seminars and to ensure that all cricket matches under the auspices and control of NYSCUA is conducted in accordance with the Laws of Cricket, and the spirit of the game.
Proudly, our vigorous yet principled training program is conducted by Acclaimed, Experienced, ICC and WICUA Certified Officials whose aim is to impart their knowledge to recruits whose ambition is to achieve their ultimate goal of making Umpiring a career and officiating in ICC Test Matches.
